FitLine D-Drink Review: Honest Opinions from a Team Partner

An honest FitLine D-Drink review from someone who has always written that detoxes are a fairy tale: what it really contains, the exact EFSA claims, the real price and who it makes (no) sense for.

What FitLine D-Drink is (and why this review is a tricky one)

FitLine D-Drink is a powdered food supplement by PM-International: 20 single-dose apple-flavoured sachets, to dissolve in water, designed for a 14-day programme with one sachet a day. It contains choline, selenium, zinc and molybdenum plus a blend of plant extracts — milk thistle, artichoke, turmeric, nettle, ginger, red ginseng — it's sweetened with stevia and uses the manufacturer's NTC technology.

Transparency first: I'm a FitLine Team Partner, so if you buy it through me, I earn money. I lost 30 kg, and on this blog I've always repeated that supplements don't work miracles: read me knowing I have a financial interest, so you can weigh every word. That's exactly what I want.

And there's a second reason this review is uncomfortable to write. I'll face it right away, without hiding.

"Detox": let's clear things up (yes, I'm the one who called it a fairy tale)

On this blog I've written more than once that "detoxes" are a fairy tale: your liver detoxifies itself, together with your kidneys, 24 hours a day, for free. No herbal tea, no juice and no sachet "flushes out toxins". I stand by every word of that today, while reviewing a product the manufacturer places inside a "cleansing programme".

How do the two things fit together? Like this:

  • The word "detox" is overused marketing. If someone sells you D-Drink claiming it "cleanses your liver" or "eliminates toxins", they're using unauthorised phrases I will never use.
  • What D-Drink actually does is written in the authorised European claims: choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function; selenium, zinc and molybdenum contribute to normal metabolism. "Contributes to the maintenance" means supporting a function that's already normal — not "purifying" a liver that purifies itself perfectly well.
  • On top of that, it provides traditional plant extracts — milk thistle, artichoke, turmeric — which are ingredients present in the formula, not promises: no authorised health claims exist for these extracts.

And above all: D-Drink doesn't promise weight loss, and I certainly won't promise it either. Anyone buying it expecting to lose weight will be disappointed: buying it for that reason is the number one mistake I see.

What it contains

The formula, from the manufacturer's official data:

CategoryWhat you get
MicronutrientsCholine, selenium, zinc, molybdenum
Plant extractsMilk thistle, artichoke, turmeric, nettle, ginger, red ginseng
SweetenerSteviol glycosides (stevia)
TechnologyNTC (Nutrient Transport Concept) by PM-International

I mention the NTC technology as the manufacturer's description, not as my promise: I have no way of verifying it independently and I don't use it as a sales argument. If you want to see how I read FitLine labels line by line, I wrote a complete analysis of FitLine product ingredients. And as always: the panel that counts is the one printed on the box you receive, especially if you have allergies or intolerances.

What it's actually for: the EFSA claims, word for word

In Europe, a supplement may only state authorised claims, which refer to individual nutrients — never to the product as a whole. For D-Drink, the relevant ones are two, and here they are verbatim:

  • Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function (and to normal lipid metabolism).
  • Selenium, zinc and molybdenum contribute to normal metabolism.

That's it. Anything beyond that — "purifies", "de-bloats", "flushes toxins", "reboots your metabolism" — is not an authorised claim: it's marketing. The plant extracts (milk thistle first among them) have a long tradition of use, but tradition doesn't mean an authorised claim, and I stick to what can legitimately be said.

How to use it: the 14-day programme

Usage is simple: one sachet a day for 14 days, dissolved in water. The flavour is apple, sweetened with stevia: pleasant, easy to drink — and that's not a detail, because a product you don't enjoy drinking ends up in a drawer by day three.

I take it in the morning, for a mundane reason: it's when consistency is easiest. And the advice I always give to anyone trying it: use the 14 days as a frame to drink more water, cut sugar and alcohol, and put your meals back in order. That's where the feeling of "lightness" comes from — the habits, not the sachet alone.

An honest look at the price

The public list price is €37.00 for 20 sachets: that's €1.85 per sachet, around €26 to cover the 14 days of the programme (with 6 sachets left over). It's not cheap: an artichoke tea from the supermarket costs a fraction of that, and I'm telling you straight.

As a Team Partner you save 20%: that brings it down to around €30 per box, and it's the only scenario where the price becomes reasonable if you use FitLine products regularly. You'll find all up-to-date prices in my complete FitLine 2026 price list with discounts: price lists change over time, and I keep that article updated.

My opinion: pros and cons

Pros

  • The claims on choline (normal liver function) and on selenium, zinc and molybdenum are concrete authorised claims: it's not coloured water.
  • The "14-day programme" format works as a psychological trigger: a start date, an end date, one gesture a day. For a restart after a messy period, the frame helps.
  • The apple flavour works, and stevia replaces sugar: two weeks of consistency is realistic.
  • Traditional extracts (milk thistle, artichoke, turmeric) combined in one sachet instead of three different teas.

Cons

  • The price: €1.85 per sachet isn't competitive with supermarket alternatives, and I won't pretend otherwise.
  • It's not a weight-loss product: if your goal is losing weight, this product isn't the answer — and no sachet is.
  • Perceived benefits vary: some people report feeling lighter, others feel nothing. And it's honest to say that part of the credit, when there is any, goes to the better habits of those 14 days, not just the powder.

Who it makes sense for (and who it doesn't)

It makes sense for you if: you want a structured two-week frame to restart after a period of excess — holidays, vacations, messy months — and you're interested in the support stated by the choline claims; you're already a FitLine customer and the -20% makes the price acceptable; you need a daily ritual that reminds you of the commitment you've made.

It makes no sense for you if: you want to lose weight (I'll say it again: that's not this product, and there is no such product); you expect a "miracle cleanse" of your liver; you're on a tight budget — water, vegetables and sleep are still free; you take medication or you're pregnant and haven't spoken to your doctor yet.

Where to buy it (and how to pay less)

D-Drink is only sold through the official fitline.com channel, via a distributor: you won't find it in pharmacies, and generalist marketplaces carry unofficial resales with no guarantees on storage and expiry dates — I'd avoid them. My guide to buying FitLine online walks you through the process step by step; the product details are on the D-Drink product page.

To pay less, two honest routes:

  • -5% on your first order with my discount code: a real discount, no fake countdowns.
  • -20% on every order by becoming a Team Partner: it only pays off if you order regularly, and in that article I also explain who it does NOT pay off for.

Frequently asked questions

Does D-Drink make you lose weight?

No. It's not a weight-management product and contains nothing that makes you lose weight. Weight is lost through a calorie deficit sustained over time: if you're searching for FitLine "to lose weight", save your money. I'd rather tell you now than later.

How many times a year can you do the programme?

The product is designed for 14-day cycles, not continuous use. People who use it generally do it 2-3 times a year, at restart moments: after the holidays, before summer. Follow the label instructions and don't exceed the recommended daily dose.

Are there any contraindications?

It's a supplement, not a medicine. If you take medication, have a medical condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor first: always, no exceptions. I covered the topic in depth in FitLine and side effects: what to know.

What does it taste like?

Apple, with sweetness from stevia. I like it and it's easy to drink for 14 days in a row; if stevia leaves you an aftertaste you don't enjoy, factor that in — better to know beforehand.

Want to know whether D-Drink makes sense in your case — or whether you'd be better off starting somewhere else entirely? Message me: I'll answer personally, with the same honesty as this review. If the product isn't for you, I'll simply tell you.
